We’re excited to introduce Shijing Hu, our talented robotics software developer at Perceptual Robotics. Shijing brings a relaxed and friendly vibe to the office, making her a great addition to our team. 

Shijing loves getting lost in a good book, whether it’s a thrilling novel or something tech-related. When she’s not deep in a story, you might find her rock climbing, taking on new walls and routes for a mix of adrenaline and problem-solving. It’s her way of staying active and thinking through challenges from a fresh perspective. Another one of Shijing’s favourite activities is sailing, where she enjoys the freedom and adventure of being out on the water. 

What makes working with Shijing so special is her enthusiasm for tackling the fascinating robotics problems we face. She genuinely appreciates being part of a team where everyone collaborates and is fully committed to our projects. As Shijing puts it, “When we decide to tackle a project, it’s like we’re all in this together, bringing our best to make it happen.” She’s always ready to jump in and contribute, making her a valuable team member who helps bring our innovative ideas to life.

As a fun fact she was one of the shipbuilders of “Turbinia”, the magnificent cardboard boat that won third place in the Bristol harbour Race in July.
